The reverb from Mutable Instruments Beads as a standalone stereo reverb for the Aurora, with all four of Beads' quality settings. Every knob and CV input does something, and it adds a freeze mode.
On Beads, the quality button changes the converter's sample rate, the bit depth, the input saturation and the reverb's tuning. This firmware does all of that. The 32 kHz and 24 kHz modes run the reverb at that rate inside the firmware, so their delay lines get longer and darker, as they do on Beads.
Level of a fully wet impulse response, measured second by second in an offline test of this firmware with Time at 70% and the other knobs at noon. Anything quieter than −60 dB is drawn at the bottom line.
At noon, Reflect, Atmosphere and Blur match Beads' own settings, so you start from the original sound and can push past it either way.
From a short room to a long wash. The range depends on the quality, as it does on Beads.
Turn it left for separate, grainy echoes, or right for a dense, smooth cloud. Noon is Beads' setting.
Left is darker, right is brighter. Noon is the damping Beads uses for the current quality.
How much the delay lines move, which smears and chorus-es the tail. Fully left is static, noon is Beads, and fully right is twice that.
Tape pitch wobble, in any quality. Fully left is off, noon is Scorched cassette's depth, and fully right is three times that.
Uses Beads' own curves for the reverb send and the dry/wet crossfade.
Each CV input adds to its knob. The sum is clamped to the knob's range.
